Install texture packs to Minecraft Java is easy and allows you to change the texture and look of Minecraft in game. Texture packs for Minecraft are now called resource packs.
Install Texture Packs in Minecraft Java (Video Tutorial):
Follow the steps below to install texture packs in Minecraft Java:
- Open a browser and navigate to https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs.
- Find and download the texture pack you want to add to Minecraft.
- Open Minecraft Java.
- Select Options and then select Resource Packs.
- Select Open Pack Folder.
- The Minecraft Resource Pack folder will then open. Drag the texture pack we just downloaded into the Minecraft resource pack.
- You will now see the texture pack under the available resource packs in Minecraft. Select the texture pack to move it over to the Select resource packs in Minecraft.
- You can now play Minecraft Java with your new texture pack.
