Merge your PDFs without uploading them
You can combine several PDF files into one document for free with PDFGadget.com. The Merge PDF Files tool works in your browser, so you do not need to download software, create an account, or send the PDFs to a server.
This is useful when you need to send a resume and certificate together, put several forms in one attachment, or organize related documents into a single PDF. You can add as many PDF files as you need, arrange them in the right order, and download the finished file when it is ready.

How to combine PDF files into one
- Open PDFGadget.com in a browser on your computer, Chromebook, iPhone, Android phone, or another device.
- Select Merge PDFs from the top menu. This opens the Merge PDF Files tool.
- Add the PDFs you want to join. You can drag and drop the files into the square on the page, or select the square to browse for them on your device.
- If you browse for files, select every PDF you want to combine and choose Open.
- Check the files shown below the upload area. Each file displays its first page, making it easier to identify the documents you added.
- Drag and drop the PDFs to set the order for the final document. Put the file you want people to see first at the beginning of the list.
- Remove any file you added by mistake before creating the combined PDF.
- Select Merge Files. Wait while the tool processes the documents.
- Select Download Merged PDF to save the new file.
Put the files in the right order first
The order in the list is the order your PDFs will appear in the merged document. Take a moment to check this before selecting Merge Files. For example, if you are combining a resume and a certificate, place the resume first if that is the document you want a recipient to open first.
If a file needs to move, drag it to a different position in the list. You do not need to start over or add the files again just to change their order. If you selected an unrelated PDF, remove it, then confirm the remaining files are arranged correctly.
This check matters because the tool combines the PDFs based on the displayed list. A correctly ordered list gives you one organized document without having to repeat the merge.
Save and check the merged PDF
After you select Download Merged PDF, your browser may automatically save the file to your downloads folder. It may also ask where you want to save it. Choose a location you can find easily, especially if you need to attach the PDF to an email or upload it somewhere next.
Open the downloaded PDF after saving it. Scroll through the document to make sure the first PDF appears first and the rest follow in the order you chose. In the example shown in the video, the resume and certificate become one PDF file.
If the files are not in the order you wanted, return to the Merge PDF Files tool, arrange the list again, and create a new merged PDF. Since the source files remain separate on your device, you can adjust the order and download another combined version when needed.
