- Select the profile button in the bottom right of the Instagram app.
- Select the 3 horizontal lines in the top right and then select Settings & Privacy.
- Scroll down and select Archiving and downloading.
- Turn on Save story to archive.
- You can now go back and add the story to your highlight.
