Looking for a new smart scale? In this unboxing and review we look at the Yunmai Color Smart Scale. This smart scale features 10 body measurements including Body Fat percentage, BMI, Muscle, Hydration, and Bone mass; an app that syncs with Apple Health, Fitbit and Google Fit; and it looks great with 6 beautiful colors.
The Yunmai app used to sync the scales measurements with your phone is extremely well made. It’s interface is very easy to use and provides a ton of information. Some of this includes weight tracking information, goal setting, and body measurements. The app is compatible with both Apple iOS iPhones / iPads and Android phones and tablets. It also syncs with other fitness tracking apps like Apple Health, Fitbit and Google Fit.
The scale offers so much information to the user. After standing on the scale, it takes only seconds to sync with the app. Once synced I have access to my Weight, Body Fat, Muscle Rate, Water, Bone Mass, Visceral Fat, BMR, BMI, Protein, and Body Age. These are all measured through Bio-impedance analysis (BIA).
The build of the scale is extremely high quality and impressive. The top of the scale is made of a very thick and heavy glass that looks beautiful and expensive. The glass and bioelectric impedance analysis sensors seem to be very secure. The bottom of the scale features 4 rubber grips as well as the AAA battery compartment. The display is very easy to read. In addition to showing your weight, it shows the progress of syncing with the Yunmai app and your body fat %.
