How to update or fix Apple Maps location information? In this tutorial, I show you how to easily change information for places on Apple Maps. This can be used to fix inaccurate information or even add new locations to Apple Maps. Updating or fixing Apple Maps details is very easy and takes less than 5 minutes.
Update Apple Maps Location Information Video Tutorial:
Note: In this tutorial, I fix the store hours for a local restaurant, but Apple’s Maps allows for the following items to be fixed: Name, Location, Address, Categories, Hours, Website, Phone, and Photos.
Follow the steps below to update or add information to Apple Maps:
- Open a location in Apple Maps.
- Swipe up to view more information about the locations. Find and select Report an issue. This should be located under the website and above the Useful to Know section.
- Once Edit Place Details opens, simply edit your desired information.
- Once you have finished editing the place details, select Submit in the top right of Apple Maps to send the update to Apple for review and approval.
