Performing a factory reset on your Garmin Forerunner 45 will completely remove all user data and user settings. Perform the steps demonstrated in the above video at your own risk.
How to FACTORY RESET the Garmin Forerunner 45:
- Hold down the Up button to open the Menu.
- Once the menu opens, scroll up and select System.
- In the System settings, scroll down and select Reset.
- To factory reset your Garmin Forerunner 45, select Delete All.
- Your Garmin Forerunner 45 has now hard reset and will need to be setup.
How to reset (not factory reset) your Garmin Forerunner 45:
- Hold down the Up button to open the Menu.
- Once the menu opens, scroll up and select System.
- In the System settings, scroll down and select Reset.
- In Reset, select Reset settings. This will reset your settings, but keep your user data. This is great if you accidentally messed with your settings and need to return them to default, but don’t want to lose all of your data, apps, personal information, etc.
