This means any Linux apps on your Chromebook, such as Audacity or OBS, can use your mic. Enabling your microphone in Chrome OS is easy but requires you have have Linux installed on your Chromebook.

Follow the steps below to enable Mic in Linux on Chromebook:
- Select the clock in the bottom right to open the menu, then select the gear for settings.
- In the Chromebook settings, search Linux and select the first option.
- This should bring you to the Linux development environment on your Chromebook. Find Allow Linux access to your Microphone and toggle it on.
