How to enable Severe Weather alerts on iPhone? In this tutorial, I show you how to get emergency weather notifications on your iPhone. Turning on severe weather alerts is easy with the Weather app from Apple. This gives us the ability to get emergency weather alerts based on our current location as well as specific locations. These severe weather alerts include tornado warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, flashflood warnings, and other emergency weather notifications.
Turn On Severe Weather Alerts on iPhone (Video Tutorial):
Follow the steps below to enable weather alerts on your iPhone:
- Open the Weather app on your iPhone. You can install it here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/weather/id106951313
- If prompted allow the app to access your location.
- Select the 3 horizontal lines in the bottom right of the app to view all your locations.
- Select the circle with 3 dots in it in the top right of the app and select Notifications.
- Toggle on Severe Weather alerts under Current Location.
