If voice chat in Fortnite is not working you can easily fix it by turning it on in the Fortnite audio settings.
Turn On Fortnite Voice Chat (Video Tutorial):
Follow the steps to turn on Fortnite voice chat:
- Open Fortnite.
- From the main menu select your avatar in the top right.
- Select the Gear near the bottom of the menu.
- Then select Settings.
- Once in the settings select the audio icon in the top menu.
- Voice Chat turn on Voice Chat by selecting Friends, Friends & Teammates, or Everyone.
- You can then close the settings. The next time you play Fortnite you will be able to use voice chat.
